I found
this blogger a year or so ago--the queen of vintage, of glitter, of creativity. I'm especially thankful to her for her latest. She calls them
"e-zines'; instructions and downloads for crafty projects for a month. I call them art therapy.
Each Monday, Wednesday, and Friday of a new ezine, subscriber's log on to her portal and she takes us through a project. Each Monday, Wednesday, and Friday I get inspiration-and an incessant desire to shred old books and glitter the hell out of everything.
It's no secret that I love handmade things. I'd just about put anything on the backburner to squeeze a few more minutes in my studio. Lately, however, my creations have been for others-taking into account to appease the masses somehow, less is more, my dear.
These "ezine" projects are for me. I don't have to explain to anyone why or what and there are no deadlines. It's just me, some glue, a jar of crap, and my imagination.
Wednesday's
Paper Romance project (link to get over there and subscribe if you are in need of some art therapy)
'The Love Shack"
Here's mine...
Details, my friends. Details. You can't see it in this photo, but there are curtains. And see the couple smooching outside the window?
A glittery roof--there's that ripped up old book and glitter desire being put into action.
The back-just because I'm obsessed with this stamp set. A felt heart, a paper hinge.
The other side of the shack. This is the side that the garden hose (the pink one) would be coiled up on. Easy access to watering the doorknob.
Complete with an "M"-after all, it is my love shack.
Teresa is the Bentley of craftivity, well worth taking her courses BUT if you're a beginner and not necessarily obsessed with this vibe, I found this freebie (click here). Just print and cut out-a contemporary love shack awaits...
